Echoregions supplies parsers and tools for working with select EchoView file formats including EVR, EVL, and ECS files. It is designed to work well with echopype, a package for ocean sonar data processing.

This current iteration of echoregions focuses on providing a wide range of tools for working with 2D region (EVR) files.
